September 12, 2025 – New York City headquartered executive search firm Solomon Page has helped to recruit Stephanie Motter as president, health plan and senior vice president, employer solutions at Baylor Scott & White Health. Marc Gouran led this national search in his capacity as managing director and global practice leader at Solomon Page healthcare. The appointment comes at a pivotal time for Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, which serves nearly 500,000 members across employer-sponsored, ACA, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid programs. Ms. Motter’s extensive background in value-based care, population health management, and integrated delivery systems makes her uniquely qualified to lead the organization’s health plan operations during this period of healthcare transformation.

Ms. Motter is a clinician-executive who is passionate about making healthcare more simple and more inclusive and containing costs for all stakeholders. Her clinical background spans multiple specialties, having served as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, and certified nurse midwife.

Ms. Motter previously served as president of Indiana University Health’s Accountable Care Organization, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership in value-based care initiatives. She currently leads the value-based care (VBC) strategy at Indiana University Health and serves as president of the IU Health Plans and the IU Health ACO. Her dual role overseeing both health plans and accountable care operations provided comprehensive experience in integrated delivery systems. Her corporate healthcare experience includes serving as the vice president for quality and clinical strategy at DaVita Healthcare Partners, where she gained valuable insights into national healthcare operations, quality measurement, and performance-based payment models.

Baylor Scott & White Health is a healthcare system based in Dallas, TX. Formed in 2013 from the merger of Scott & White Health with Baylor Healthcare System, it became the largest non-profit healthcare system in Texas and one of the largest in the country. Mr. Gouran is a president and global practice leader at Solomon Page. He is the founder, architect, and general manager of the organization’s healthcare and life sciences division, which he started in 1992. It has expanded since then to three offices nationally. Mr. Gouran focuses on senior executive searches on a global basis with top companies and institutions in health insurance, consulting, pharmaceutical and biotech, health services and other healthcare related businesses. The Solomon Page client list includes hospitals, integrated delivery systems, health insurance carriers, Blue Cross Plans, HMO’s, employee benefits consulting firms, as well as pharmaceutical and biotech companies and other healthcare services companies and institutions.
