Restaurants and meat markets are inspected once to four times per year based on risk frequency, child care facilities and year-round swimming pools are inspected twice per year and school buildings are inspected once per year. Nov. 17Vicious Biscuits, located at 702 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607, received an “A” grade and a final score of 95. The restaurant received a 1.5-point demerit for unclean food-contact surfaces, a 1.5-point demerit for improper hot holding temperatures, a 1-point demerit for improper storage of toxic substances, a 0.5-point demerit for improper storage of utensils, and a 0.5-point demerit for unclean physical facilities.
